Prologue: Most girls dream of being swept off their feet by their perfect prince charming; werewolves are no different. Every one I've ever met has fantasized about the day they found their mate, the one who would complete them like that final puzzle piece. I however don't quite share that sentiment. I absolutely loathe the thought of having a mate, and despise the fact that the moon goddess gave me one. What makes it worse is try as i might, i can't get away from him. My name is Selena, i am only 17 with a past that would make those with even an ounce of compassion weep. Everyone always remarks about the fact that I am strong, but I am strong because I had to take care of myself. I know that for most werewolves they rely on their pack, but I don't have that option. What I kept of the original idea plot: 1.The fact that the original mate died and that second chances are given once a decade. 2.The new mate can be only human. 3. Multiple werewolves will feel attracted to her. 4. He will kidnap her at some point in the story. Hereby I am giving credit for the idea. All the rest belongs to me, should not be copied and bla, bla, it is a work of fiction and should be viewed as such. As I know myself it will contain violence and mature stuff so be aware. Artwork from the images is mine unless stated otherwise. The story is a slow burn so the romance will develop slowly, to set correct expectations.
