This is about a girl, Angie who struggles with the war that is surrounding her. Her father abuses her mother and drinks excessively. Yet once he gets a job offer they see it as a time to run free. Join Angie's adventure to freedom with her mother and see where she gets. This story is set in a time period when the holocaust was in the midst. Don't judge to harshly although I tried my best to do the research and get all my facts correct.

I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing.
