Maisie Smith is pretty much your typical seventeen year-old introvert, who has had a hard past. But Maisie grew a talent for something she never expected she would ever have. Running. Now this isn't a story on someone who is a sweet person with a tragic backstory and found they had a passion for running with their school. Maisie grew a talent for running away. Maisie grew up under the care of her aunt and uncle, who already had two high maintenance children, they were honor students, both popular with the sports teams, basically your perfect set of children. Frustrated and depressed, Maisie finds herself out on the open road, with her best friend Dakota Cunningham, running away on her 18th birthday on a trip to find someone whom she loves so dearly.
