Things were simple. Wake up, get ready, go to school, don't be noticed, do well, come home, do homework, go to bed, repeat. Really it was that simple for Sapphire. Of course there would be small jumps in the routine. For example, she would be noticed, she wouldn't have any homework, she might not do well that day, or she would be noticed.
Bullies are a prominent thing in all schools. There was the social standing, of course there were bullies. The head of them all at Homeworld High, was Jasper Fear (a fitting name considering how much fear she drilled into others). Then Jasper had her 'squad' they did her crap, and are what most people would call, friends. Amethyst Smalls, Milky Quartz and Ruby Valentine.
Of course someone like Sapphire Wind and Ruby Valentine would never really mix, right?

Star Sapphire is the only sapphire of her kind. Her ranking is higher than an Agate! All star gems are second to the Diamonds. But each of them still had a Diamond they were made for. Star Sapphire was made for Pink Diamond. She was made on Homeworld and was always treated like a superior. She was very loyal to Pink Diamond and the other Diamonds. She had future vision that was 99% correct! She also had fire and ice powers. (Like Todoroki from BNHA) And her weapon was a bow. Like Opals. She knew about Rose Quartz but never questioned her. She always saw Rose doing her work when she came by, so she didn't question it. She didn't look into the future to find out about her Diamonds shattering. She never knew until.. One day, Sapphire was walking up to her Diamonds palanquin when she saw.. The Rose Quartz. She drew her rebel blade and... *POOF* Her gem was no longer there... there were pieces of her where she had dissipated her form. She stared at Rose in shock. She didn't really hate Rose but she dislikes her for now. She didn't REALLY agree with her Diamond but.. That doesn't mean she deserved to be shattered! Once the Diamonds directed there attack... and Star ran as fast as she could to one of the Kindergarden holes and hid. But someone didn't make it.... Her friend.. Star Ruby. Peridot wasn't one for shitty romances. She hated the ongoing war and sexual tension that was easily resolved by one person sucking the other off. So how the hell did she let her life turn into one of those shitty romances? Peridot is a college student who hates legitimately anything that dare breath around her. She was a social outcast and a huge gamer. No one knew her name, only referring to her as 'Techie' due to her pretty much living in the computer lab, and she liked it that way. She has few friends and would much rather interact with something predictable and efficient. So why the hell did the Goddess on campus have to ruin that? The Goddess, or rather Lapis Lazuli, was quiet different. She enjoyed social events, though she herself didn't talk much, and was captain of the swim team. She also was the new person around campus and yet she was already popular. Maybe it was fate, maybe it was dumb luck, but this social butterfly finds herself crashing into the coldest and most cruelest person she's ever met. Sapphire is just the average girl at school with a backstory she likes to keep secret. Life is routine for her until she meets Ruby. The popular baseball jock whom everyone loves. Ruby's life can get pretty exciting but nothing compares to the moment she met her Sapphire. But will Ruby's own secrets put them in danger? Btw I have my own unique take for how I'd see each of these characters in this story's universe. If you don't like it that's okay but I won't be changing my concept. Imagine Beach City. A normal city, normal people, normal society, a normal school. Or, at least, one can only assume so. Some might say that their school is abnormal because of the people in it. When we use the word "abnormal" to describe Beach City Middle School, we aren't lying. As gems, Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Steven, and all the others have a bit of a hard time living normal lives. Whether they're respected or picked on because of their appearance, they all manage to get through... Most of it. The crystal gems, trying to hide their secrets to avoid further investigation, Steven and Connie, trying to live life to the fullest, Lapis and Peridot, trying to uncover as many secrets as possible, and Jasper and her gang, trying to be the best and most loved- and feared.
