Gerard Way is a depressed alcoholic who's wasting his life scribbling his incoherent thoughts into a half destroyed sketchbook.
Frank Iero is an aspiring musician who's hopes of becoming something are fading fast, which sometimes drives him to indulge his more destructive vices.
They meet in a dingy coffee shop, and all seems good until they start to discover that the other's demons are stronger than they thought.

I do not own My Chemical Romance or any of the people in this story. Most of the characters are real-life people, with a few original minor characters, (ex: Kiya the coffee girl)
The plot line is my own and if it mirrors another story line, it is unintentionally done.
I do not intend to romanticize suicidal thoughts, self-harm, addiction, abuse, etc. All of these things are very damaging and I am in no way trying to make them attractive characteristics. This story is intended to be more about healing, getting away from these things, and finding closure. I'm sorry if it seems like I am romanticizing or encouraging self destruction, this is certainly not intentional.

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down.
