I am a greaser, living with my older brother Darrel, we call him Darry, and my younger brother Ponyboy, we call him Pony sometimes.
We are against socs, the rich kids of town, the lucky ones with the fancy cars and houses. The socs have been jumping me and Ponyboy a lot lately but we have to stay strong. You know? I guess that there's always a reason for everything... to get stronger... but what if it's breaking you down?

Darrel is stressed with work and taking care of his two brothers and was getting angry a lot recently. Sodapop felt disconnected and almost sick all of the time and was very tired of being a middleman to his brothers all the time. Ponyboy was struggling with his sexual orientation and was scared what others would say when he realised he had fallen in love with, not even a girl, but Johnny Cade. Really just me trauma-dumping onto all of the Curtis brothers and adding Darrel's anger issues to the mix.Complete
