As his eyelids lowered, I let mine do the same, focusing on nothing but my heartbeat and his hands around my waist as I felt his lips finally press themselves against mine. And as he did that, a star - somewhere in our galaxy - exploded into a million pieces of stardust that rained down into our atmosphere.

I hadn't been what he was looking for either, but he'd found me anyway.
