Draco's just on his average prefect rounds, when he hears a noise.

"Stop it!" A loud slapping noise comes and he hears a faint scream and a thud of what he imagines to be a body fall to the floor. He would recognize the sound anywhere. And if there was one thing that Draco believed in, it would be against physical abuse. He had seen his father, and had seen what he had done to his mother. He would never let anyone be that way, ever. Draco didn't care who it was, he just wanted to stop it. And he was going to.

After Draco and Hermione get positions as head girl and head boy, things start to change as Draco finds himself strangely comforting Hermione. Things lead to one another and before you know it, feelings start to appear. But what happens when one of them is in denial about their true feelings? And when one of them is an arrogant prick that just so happens to be a ferret and none other than Draco Malfoy?...
