This story revolves around social outcast Louis Tomlinson, a high school student living in the town of Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Louis' life drastically changes when he is bitten by a werewolf the night before his 2nd year at school, becoming one himself. He must then learn to balance his problematic new identity with his day-to-day teenage life. The following characters are instrumental to his struggle: Liam Payne, his human best friend; Harry Styles, his first love interest who comes from a family of werewolf hunters; Niall Horan, a banshee and Harry's best friend; and Zayn Malik, a mysterious werewolf with a dark past. Along the way, he encounters characters who shape him into a stronger werewolf and better person: Stephen Devine , a bully from his high school; Ashton Irwin and Bryana Holly who come into it later and many more undefeatable creatures to come. Throughout the series, he strives to keep his loved ones safe while maintaining normal relationships with them.

Louis Tomlinson is the first openly gay member of his town's football (soccer) team and he doesn't want his sexuality to define him. He hates being known as "Louis, the gay one" and he is constantly bullied. He is very insecure about his sexuality and does anything to seem manly, which includes begging Niall and Liam to let him be. Both boys attend the same college. When they meet, their newfound friendship turns out to be great for the both of them. It eventually turns to a relationship. They are both in their own states of Misery.Complete
