"Marylin, I'm leaving." We were sitting on the swing, I was leaning on him. We were best friends since 3rd grade. Now we're in highschool, moving forward to college. But there was a problem. I fell in love with him. No matter how long I've denied it, I was in love with him since he took me away from my problems. And now he's leaving. I had to tell him how I felt. "You're leaving?" I got up and looked him in the eye. My eyes watered. I didn't want him to leave. How could I live without him? "I'm going to New York. I got accepted into the college I always wanted to go. Aren't you happy?" "Of course I'm happy! But what about us? What about everything we planned?" I close to crying. "When I come back, we'll do it all." "Promise?" "Promise." He got up and left. I sat there, letting all the tears flow out. I hoped he kept his-no-our promise. Maybe, just maybe, I'll tell him the truth.
