Well done to everyone who worked so hard to get TJM and now we finally have it and our burning questions will be answered and Hey Arnold! gets the ending it deserves! This fanfic has been made to celebrate TJM being finally put into works!

"The Winter Fair has come to town and Arnold is keen on asking Lila to go with him but is too nervous after what happened last time at the Cheese Festival and is worried on pervious disasters repeating themselves.

Unsure what to do, Gerald comes up with a plan that since Lila is already going, Arnold should ask another girl in an attempt to make Lila jealous; So Arnold asks Helga.

With Helga delighted about Arnold asking her on a "maybe date" date, will she find out the real reason he asked her to the fair? Will Lila become jealous and fall into Arnold's arms or will it just end in another "Just like you situation"? And will Arnold finally win Lila over? Or does he happen to fall for someone he didn't expect?"

*THIS IS A CANON-DIVERGENT RETELLING OF 2017'S HEY ARNOLD! THE JUNGLE MOVIE* I wrote this story from 2005-2011, back when The Jungle Movie looked like it had a snowball's chance of being developed. In the original edit of the story, I gave Arnold the last name of Schwartz; official canon confirms that his last name is actually Shortman. Fan consensus at the time had already come to this conclusion, so when I re-released the story on Deviantart, that was one of the first changes I made. At the time when I initially wrote the story, it was script format, as I wasn't quite comfortable with writing traditional narrative. Now, with several other fanfics under my belt, I feel like it's time to re-visit the story one final time and present it in a way that most fans would prefer to have it read. It may seem redundant to post this again now that the story was officially concluded in 2017, but I'd like one final opportunity to express what I was hoping for from The Jungle Movie. However, for the past 8 years he's kept this feeling hidden deep within his soul, thinking that she probably likes Sam or Ben or someone. However, the girl of his dreams may have also fallen for the clumsy firefighter... As Norman and Derek begin to claim finding a 'treasure,' Trevor Evans ends up in the hospital, Elvis begins to have strange dreams about keeping his feelings hidden.
