Among the Gifted (Five Year Anniversary Edition)

A new, revamped version of the original Gifted.....Meaning new characters new stories, slightly changed names for some, and new endings for different story arcs, plus new adventures, but the old stories will still be there, just better since it's been a year since it's finished and 3 years since it began...OKAY THEN, new description!

Charlotte "Mae" Lee had it all. Just about the best life you could have as a teenager. A ditsy guardian who didn't pay enough attention to know her and her sister, "Ray" Raine Lee, were never there, a rich, handsome and loving boyfriend who the two practically lived with and the best friend a girl could ask for. She never had much on her plate until one day. Mae and Ray snuck out, as per usual with Mae's boyfriend and best friend. Little did the four know that the night would be full of the scent of death and Frappuccino. Large meteor-like objects plowed into the Earth at exactly 8:42 PM (PST). These large space-rocks containing a scent-less chemical that flooded the atmosphere as soon as it entered. This chemical reacted with select humans, and giving them traits that some would call super-human, alien, supernatural, godly, and gifts. However some refer to these abilities as demonic, destructive, and cursed. No conclusion as to why these select humans reacted and not all did, but the United States determined the smartest thing to do, was to isolate those "infected", instruct them to use their abilities properly and constructively. This establishment was entitled the J.J.W. Institute, and this is the story of those who may be Gifted, Cursed, or something else all together...
