Meet Emily. She's 15 years old living in a small waterfront town on Long Island, NY. Her parents are divorced, but they both live nearby, and she has a fairly good relationship with both of them. She has a group of great friends that have more or less been together since middle school, and it looks like it will stay that way.
Emily is smart, can sing, has great friends, a supportive family - seemingly the perfect life. What could go wrong?
Join Emily on her journey through friendship troubles, battling anxiety and depression, and maybe - just maybe - first love.

My breath catches in my throat as I pull at the hoodie that covered his chiselled body. Understanding, Jacob pulls it off in one swift movement before attaching his lips back on my neck. Sucking and biting it before flicking his tongue over the sore spot. A quiet moan leaves my mouth and I clasp my hand over it, denying any noise to escape. How bad could it be to enlist your female best friend into helping you lie to your Christian family about your new relationship with your male best friend and about your newfound sexuality? Not that bad, right? Right??? --------- Nova Queen and Arizona "Ari" Matthews weren't always close in high school, but after an intense and serious conversation in the library one day, the two become the best of friends until they go their separate ways their freshman year of college.
