Sirius Black has a tendency to get himself and his friends into trouble. Most of the bad ideas tend to be from him. James, Peter, Remus, and Sirius are the perfect example of a loud and rambunctious group of boys. With Sirius' ever explosive relationship with his family, he found himself telling the Sorting Hat to sort him into the House of Gryffindor. It was supposed to be just a prank on his parents.

Charlotte Abbott has been used to the quiet and low-radar life. That is, until she meets James Potter. The two of them quickly become childhood best friends, and are attending Hogwarts together. Charlotte even finds herself begging the Sorting Hat to sort her into Gryffindor, just so she could be with her best friend.

The group of friends naturally turn into family, and they slowly realize over time who is on the right side of witchcraft and wizardry.
