Two years ago, Kate Cross kidnapped criminal profiler Gaspard Booth and tortured him for ten days, but instead of killing him, she decided to let him go. She turned herself in, and now Kate has been locked away for the rest of her life, while Gaspard is in a prison of another kind---alcoholic, disfigured and disabled, powerless to get those ten horrific days off his mind. He continues to visit Kate in prison once a week as the body-count still rises, saying that only he can get her to confess as to the whereabouts of more of her 'followers,' but even he knows the truth---he can't stay away.

I trusted him, but he turned out to be a creepy psycho who kidnapped me. • People say I'm the epitome of a good girl-obedient, kind-hearted and graceful. I've never really mingled with friends, always stayed close to my parents, and never did anything that could disappoint them. I focused on my studies, scored good marks and had my future planned. I wanted to be a columnist. But everything changed during one family trip to a hill station. That's where I met him. At first, I fell for his sweet words, his kind gestures and his caring attitude. No one could have guessed that the same man would turn into my stalker! That he would kidnap me...! and lock me away in a lonely cottage, cut off from the outside world. This is my story-my fight to escape a psychopath. But can I truly get away from him? Or will Stockholm syndrome win?
