It has been 46 years since the destruction the world. The only land left was North America which formed into the nation of Panem. People are starving. People are dying. Things are not easy for anyone in Panem at all, especially in District 13. My name is Augustus Underbrook and I live in the nuclear weaponry and military district. My family is starving. People are being killed. The Capitol is unfair. A revolution is unfolding. It is time to gain our freedom.

The Hunger Games - Broadcast of Survival
War, terrible war. Widows, orphans, a motherless child. This was the uprising that rocked our land. Thirteen districts rebelled against the country that fed them, loved them, protected them. Brother turned on brother until nothing remained. And then came the peace, hard fought, sorely won. A people rose up from the ashes and a new era was born. But freedom has a cost. When the traitors were defeated, we swore as a nation we would never know this treason again. And so it was decreed that, each year, the various districts of Panem would offer up, in tribute, one young man and woman to fight to the death in a pageant of honor, courage and sacrifice. The lone victor, bathed in riches, would serve as a reminder of our generosity and our forgiveness. This is how we remember our past. This is how we safeguard our future. This year 24 new tributes have been reaped, all with one objective, survive. But who will win? So this is just a dumb fanfic I wrote about my friends at college, its not meant to be taken seriously and I'm only putting it here so that my friends can have access to is as I write it.

That just the way it is, the people with powers are looked down upon were ever they go as both a dangoure and low class workers with zero money. Soon however I realized that the capitol doesn't look down upon the ones with powers because they are a lower class but because they are a threat, so if that is what they think of us stand with me and join the fight for our freedom our rights, super blood made us like this so we can make them fear us.
