"Sorry, Lahey, but I'm more of a cat person." Vera Pérez is no stranger to the supernatural. Growing up alongside the Hale family has kept her fairly well-informed about the creatures that lurk in the darkness. However, she didn't become one of those nighttime horrors until the end of her sophomore year- Derek had no choice but to turn her so she wouldn't die from her wounds after a kanima attack. After an incident caused by his depression, a renowned worker in the adult entertainment industry, Romero Porcupine, decides that a change of scenery would be a nice decision for himself. So, he decides to go and move to what he's told is a nice, quiet town. Everything seems to be going great. The townsfolk seem nice. The scenery is amazing. It's not too far from the city, and the best part, nobody seems to know who he is. On top of all that, he now needs to try and figure out how to process some new... information... he ends up getting about the world he lives in. Nathan is a teenage boy with a rebellious streak, marked by his short black hair slicked back and a faint goatee that gives him a more mature look. He's someone who often feels misunderstood, both by his family and the world around him. He's introspective and struggles to connect with others. the family was on a three-hour drive to Grandma's birthday. The morning was filled with the usual chaos of a busy household, with Jess rushing to pack and making sure everything was ready for the trip. Nathan, already packed and waiting patiently, had a relaxed attitude, dressed in a hoodie and jeans with his long black hair slicked back and a faint goatee, which earned him a critical look from his mom, Jess, who didn't like his style. As they loaded the car, Mark double-checked everything, while Jess made sure nothing was forgotten. During the car ride their car broke down in the forest, Nathan wandered off and discovered a hidden village. The villagers initially appeared hostile but eventually spared his parents. While his family adapted quickly-his mother becoming a caregiver and his father earning respect as a hunter-Nathan struggled to adjust. Life in the village felt foreign, and he struggled with survival skills. Assigned a harsh mentor, Nathan faced frustration and mistreatment but showed persistence. After standing up to bullies, he earned some respect, and his mentor began to soften, though Nathan still felt like an outsider, unsure if he would ever belong, Nathan never thought what his life will be like in the next 10 years. Full of journeys and unexpected turns he never thought would come true, He just wants to go home....
