All are born with the ability for good or evil. The child itself is innocent. It is the person it grows to be that determines whether it is good or evil. Fëanáro's first thought was not of chaos or crafting. Just as with any innocent child, it was his mother that first graced his mind.
This is just my take on the birth and adolescence of Fëanor's life. It's been an idea that has been running amuck in my brain for quite some time. Hope you enjoy it!

The Lady of the Earth
The youngest of Lord Elrond's children has always been different from her siblings. A part of her seemed to be locked away, waiting for the right moment to burst forth. Despite this, she was loved, she was treasured and she was protected... until she wasn't. The day she unlocked her true self is a day that haunts her. Instead of the assured protection of her family, she became the protector. That day lingers. It scars. The traumatic event not only affected her but her family. As time moves forward the scar remains, not loudly or visible but it remains. Until an event occurs and that nightmare was said to slink back into darkness, providing a semblance of peace. A small fire, a source of heat for her but a beacon for unsavoury characters. That is all took for the nightmare to come back. That once locked part now pulsates. A warning perhaps or a sign of evolving. She seeks out a wizard for her answers and instead she leaves with more questions and uncertainties. She offers her help when asked, a small thing for a dear friend... Oh how she regrets that. Dwarves! Dragons! Wargs! She did not agree with this. She did not agree with it at all! Amongst, verbally combating with dwarves, playing therapist to an emotionally compromised hobbit, refraining from pushing an annoyingly vague wizard; she finds the past does not remain there. Kissing My Cousin
This is a collection of stories, each piece a standalone, which I originally wrote between 2001 and 2005. They center on the life of Maedhros (usually called by his Quenya name of Maitimo in my stories), and his love for Fingon (Findekano). They are in roughly chronological order except the first one, however they can be read in any order. The characters are owned by the estate of JRR Tolkien but the words are mine. Where Lord Elrond's firstborn was the evening star, his second born was the morning star. Blessed with the ability to call on the light of the dawn, Allora is a paragon of hope as she sheds light on a growing darkness. And as the tenth member of the Fellowship of the Ring, she journeys with them to destroy the One Ring for good and rid the lands of Middle-Earth of the darkness and evil of Sauron, the very being her father fought over 3000 years prior. Where he fought at the start of the battle, his daughter will fight for the end. But through all this fighting and all this darkness and light; through being the ray of hope for everyone else, Allora finds a ray of hope for herself. A ray of hope that takes form in her Elvish companion, Legolas. Facing darkness from the likes of which she's never seen and feelings from the likes of which she's never felt, it's safe to say that this battle is going to be harder than any that Allora has ever fought before in her long life. Trapped (Thranduil FanFiction)
Caladhiel had been born in the Northern Mountains of Middle Earth. She'd always been hot headed, passionate and brave. Her father was the leader of their clan and they were the elves that protected the North. On a faithful battle her home was destroyed by the Orcs and she was the only surviver of her clan. She was found by Galadriel, almost dying and she took her under her care and protection. Caladhiel was moved to Rivendell and was put under Elrond's care, he taught her how to behave in court, how to address herself to nobles and most important of all how to be a proper lady suitable for marriage. Causing far too much trouble for Elrond in Rivendell the young elven princess of the North is moved to Mirkwood in order to be taught how to behave and leave her warrior ways behind. Caladhiel hates being told what to do but as soon as her eyes catch the Elven King's her world is about to be turned upside down.Complete
