All are born with the ability for good or evil. The child itself is innocent. It is the person it grows to be that determines whether it is good or evil. Fëanáro's first thought was not of chaos or crafting. Just as with any innocent child, it was his mother that first graced his mind.
This is just my take on the birth and adolescence of Fëanor's life. It's been an idea that has been running amuck in my brain for quite some time. Hope you enjoy it!

Kissing My Cousin
This is a collection of stories, each piece a standalone, which I originally wrote between 2001 and 2005. They center on the life of Maedhros (usually called by his Quenya name of Maitimo in my stories), and his love for Fingon (Findekano). They are in roughly chronological order except the first one, however they can be read in any order. The characters are owned by the estate of JRR Tolkien but the words are mine. Rated for male / male intimacy and some violence. Where Lord Elrond's firstborn was the evening star, his second born was the morning star. Blessed with the ability to call on the light of the dawn, Allora is a paragon of hope as she sheds light on a growing darkness. And as the tenth member of the Fellowship of the Ring, she journeys with them to destroy the One Ring for good and rid the lands of Middle-Earth of the darkness and evil of Sauron, the very being her father fought over 3000 years prior. Where he fought at the start of the battle, his daughter will fight for the end. But through all this fighting and all this darkness and light; through being the ray of hope for everyone else, Allora finds a ray of hope for herself. A ray of hope that takes form in her Elvish companion, Legolas. Facing darkness from the likes of which she's never seen and feelings from the likes of which she's never felt, it's safe to say that this battle is going to be harder than any that Allora has ever fought before in her long life. Wish her luck because she will surely need it.
