The Empty Spaces of Prague
27 parts Complete Prague, 1989. Right after the Velvet Revolution, new college graduate Elishka moves from rurual Maryland to the city of Prague in the hopes of being a part of history. There she meets Milo, a self-absorbed composer looking for new symphonies to play his music, his best friend Sam, a student looking for a PhD topic, and other adventure seekers hoping to make their fame and fortune in a newly opened city. Elishka lands a job in the Jewish quarter of Prague researching which (if any) Jewish families survived the Holocaust. There she confronts her family’s secrets and lies. The search takes her to Hungary and the Bohemian countryside for the priest that married her grandparents. The discovery of history can change a person, a family, a people, or a country. Elishka realizes that the truth is hers to manipulate and is forced to make a decision.
