Luke and Claire have been best friends since the sixth grade. At the end of the eleventh grade, they fell for the cliche of best friends dating. Will they go to prom together? Not a chance. If their brief relationship taught them anything, it's that they hate a lot of things about each other. But they love each other enough to persevere through that.
This novel is kind of a coming of age story, and also a bit satirical in a sense.
