Luke and Claire have been best friends since the sixth grade. At the end of the eleventh grade, they fell for the cliche of best friends dating. After two months of awkward make out sessions, boob grabs, and... The two are plutonic again and back on the look out for the love of their lives. Are they meant to be together? Will they go to prom together? Not a chance. If their brief relationship taught them anything, it's that they hate a lot of things about each other. But they love each other enough to persevere through that.
This novel is kind of a coming of age story, and also a bit satirical in a sense.
