Katya entered her bedroom and found him gazing out the window. She knew he'd heard her enter. She stalked towards him , angrily and stopped a breathing distance away from his muscular back. He turned around at her eratic breathing and stroked her cheek , calming her.
She closed her eyes, "What are you doing here", she asked not as harshly as she'd demanded before and opened her eyes. They'd gone violet now.
He stared , bewitched, at her eyes and said simply, "Your soul called out to me ."
Her eyes flashed between blue and violent as she stared out at the red moon.
Katya has been mourning loved ones for decades. She and her Pride have lived up in the cold mountains, away from pack affairs. Katya's power is growing stronger and her resolve and strength weaker.
