First things first: eat healthy and fulfilling foods (Nutritious Foods) over high caloric, nutrient poor food derivatives... stuff that contains food but is several times removed from its natural state. Get healthy fats and proteins through quality foods, and it's very much a quality over quantity end game.

Quality reduces the desire for quantity.

Get sweets from fresh fruits, fats from meats, raw nuts, avocados, coconut and olive oils, and these can go a long way toward helping to curb cravings.
