When Prince Zackai comes to his coronation, his home is brutally attacked. He is forced to flee his home, or he would likely have been killed. But that's exactly what Victoria, a High Warlock, wants him to do. So, she hunts him down and curses him, inflicting him with a dark spell that ensures that he is forced to become a monster. But that's not all. Each time he becomes this monstrous beast form, Zackai becomes more feral. And each time he dies in that beast form, he returns from death as a much more feral and less humane. Zackai is trapped in this curse, and the only one who can help him is another Dark Fae, like him, a girl called Eilex. But when they meet, things go very wrong.
