What do you do when life deals you shit cards? Do you run and hide or stand up and fight? For eighteen year old Kat there is no hope of hiding from the many ghosts that haunt her past.
When life deals the wrong hand she winds up on the streets. No family and no home. Being a teenager is hard enough without having to go at it alone.
Resorting to crime, finding herself on the wrong hand of the law and being charmed by the oh-so delectable Officer Julien, are only a few of the problems Kat faces in her new life. Take one sarcastic teenager add in a crooked cop and it can only equal to something weird and wonderful.
