It was a warm summer afternoon when she opened the cookie to reveal the ridiculous fortune inside. She eagerly broke the cookie in half and pulled out the bright white strip of paper. Her skin paled, her eyes widened, the world spun. This couldn't be happening! This was some sort of sick joke! Or was it?
