Chaos is inevitable.
In the year 2113, the last of humanity resides in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, trapped in by the inclining sea level, all its previous glory reduced to one last fortress: Empire City.
Built atop the ruins of the old, the metropolis with a population of half a billion is four times the size of Tokyo. A paradise engineered for the ultimate ecstasy, the lines between the dream and reality continues to blur as the skyrocketing wealth gap dims under the neon lights, all justified under a guise of desire.
The previous consequences forgotten, people abandoned the past for the future.
In laughable contrast, Sector Zero lies on the backside of the city, the sole reason of its existence is to act as an abyss for the banished. An impoverished slum sprawling in the dark, a place where spoiled milk and stale bread is considered a decent meal.
A place where the elderly and the young grazes on starvation while next door down, an entire city lives to consume.
