In 1942, when their children were born Peter Middlebrooks and James Green swore they were mutual enemies and didn't want their children having anything to do with each other. But as Sheila Middlebrooks and Victor Green grow up, they become friends, soon best friends, without their fathers knowing. But then it becomes harder, when they start falling in love with each other.
