Celenia is an assassin. She kills for a foul king, who thinks that anyone who disobeys him, will have to die. Celenia must make a hard choice when Granin, her best friend, joins a rebellion only to get caught. Even though she warned him it would happen, and that she would not help, she was held at pause when it turned out she had to kill him. What will she choose, her life, or Granin's? When she gets caught by a couple guards, what she sees is unbelievable. Is she only an assassin, or something more? And what will she do, to get her crown, her people, and the person she loves?

** Complete - EDITING** In a kingdom where magic is forbidden, Selene serves as the King's Assassin, bound to his every command. Though, she has no memory of who she truly is -- only the name the King has told her. In the crowded, suffocating city, she struggles to think clearly, to remember something. But remembering is dangerous; it could make the King angry. And angering the King something she dares not risk. Yet, when Selene begins dreaming of a mysterious man with amber eyes, fragments of her memories begin to return. As her past slowly pieces itself together, she faces the question -- will learning the truth of who she is give her the strength to claim her freedom, or will it spell doom for herself and the kingdom she has come to call home?
