Anna Barnes was twelve when her brother was killed in action, leaving her officially an orphan. He was dumb for leaving her, but she knew he had to prove himself. She was fourteen when she was kidnapped from the orphanage and trained to become the next Captain America, except this time of HYDRA's side. She was sixteen when she was killed in action and she was sixteen when she was brought back to life.
Living out her days working for an undercover S.H.I.E.L.D, Anna must avenge her brothers death, even if it means killing him.

She grew up to the feeling of the Winter Soldier's metal fist punishing her for every mistake she made. She was thirteen-year-old Natalia's liability in the red room, but she was Clint Barton's world once he took the two of them in instead of pursuing his mission to kill them. Their lives change as they work for SHIELD alongside Clint, run from their old captors with his help, and hide in hotels and safe houses. Though Zola can hardly speak English or understand what is happening to her, she builds relationships with her mother, whom she used to be denied of seeing. She gets closer to Clint, who she genuinely believed was her father. She didn't know any better. Thankfully, she was happy to lose the one relationship she never asked for. She'd longed for a father figure, but the relationships she had with everyone in the Red Room, especially the Winter soldier, were not that. As unfortunate as it was for Bucky, who wanted nothing more than to be a part of his daughter's life, he was forced to watch her grow up in someone else's care from a distance. They wiped him so often, he would hardly remember her, anyway. Still, in the small moments where he could remember, he hoped that one day he would win her trust back as Bucky, not the Winter Soldier that she knew. Endings And New Beginnings
This is a sequel to Red Winter. I didn't plan on writing a sequel but here it is! Again, the events transpire in a timeline where they've restored everything after defeating Thanos and reversing the effects of the snap. This is focused on Natasha, Bucky and Steve only. I have always appreciated the dynamics of Steve and Natasha's relationship even if there is no romance in it. And I often wonder how Natasha and Bucky would interact in the present considering their past. Again, I don't own Marvel and any of its characters. Just like you I daydream what happens between the fades in and fades out, between the end of the movie, its mid-credits scene and end-credit scene. And this is the result, one of the results.
