Alex is a werewolf and it's her first night transforming. This is what she's been waiting for her ever since she was little. There's just one thing spoiling it all: this nagging feeling in her stomach, yelling that something is wrong and it gets worse and worse as the full moon draws closer. All she can think of is what's to come and if her first transformation will be everything she's ever expected or everything she fears.

The transformation turned out to be a long painful process. Her were-heritage demands that she claims Beth as her own. She is almost powerless to stop it or to make her own choice. Beth however has no choice but to complete the mating and be turned. It is that or die. When she nearly dies in the grip of the transformation Alex curses Fate and demands things be put right.
