Orphaned at the age of nine, Lilly Davidson is sent away to a care home in a long abandoned town, where she is isolated from all life outside. Growing up, she was cruelly beaten by her carers and the children she was forced to live with, causing her to be mentally and physically scarred. So when the dreams begin, she thinks nothing of them, until they become so vivid and horrifying she's afraid to sleep, leaving her in a state of panic and depression.
