Singing I am your worst, I am your worst nightmare
I am your worst, I am your worst nightmare

Because they took our love and they filled it up
Filled it up with Novocaine and now I'm just numb
Now I'm just numb
So don't stop, don't stop until your heart goes numb
Now I'm just numb
I don't feel a thing for you

On a typical Friday night, Pete Wentz found himself drunk at yet another party with more and more people he could care less about. He seemed like the typical rock star drunk, always looking for someone to spend the night with and then never remember her again the next morning. There's always a story behind why people are who they have become and Pete was no different.

Sam was a college student at NYU with a younger brother with a tendency to get drunk and go missing every so often only to be found in the worst situations. Sam put it upon herself to rescue her brother and save him from himself.

These two completely different people cross paths on the one night Sam's brother gets in their way. As Sam finds herself at the same party as Pete Wentz, Fall Out Boy bassist and lyricist, he thinks he can add her to his never ending list of one night stands but ends up discovering the one thing that can change him and turn him back into what he was before.

The thing about Novocaine is there is no doubt you will get addicted, addictions are the one thing you can't get over.

As the tour comes to an end, Joe and Andy decide to enroll Libbie in a high school near them, which Libbie is less than thrilled about. She gets off to a rocky start, like any new kid would - especially when you're a rock star's daughter - but as the school year progresses, she makes a few friends and even meets a boy, who is the principal's son. In her new group of friends, is an old friend that she has a history with. Feelings are rekindled and Libbie's first relationship starts up again. On her birthday, October 23rd, her friends take her to a party - where things get very out of hand. Feelings are lost, trust is broken. Because of that, she resorts back to her old ways - her old self-harming ways. She isolates herself, not wanting to see a single person. Joe and Andy, even Pete and Patrick, are worried about her, but don't know how to help. As her isolation continues, she finally decides to make ends meet by trying to be more social with everyone. But, as she starts to feel better and decides to go back to school, the bullying she received when she first got to school progresses, making everything ten times harder again. She's called names, horrible, horrible names - and all because she lost her virginity to the principal's son. She soon feels like she's nothing, like she's not meant to be here. But, she hides behind a happy face every day, which makes Joe and Andy unaware to everything going on. Libbie tries to kill herself by overdosing, which, much to Joe and Andy's happiness, fails. The story ends with a life-altering shock to all three of them - as well as the principal's son. Will Libbie's life be the same? Will the boy come back to her? How will Joe and Andy react?
