Not many people believe in elves. Unless you live in Iceland, in which 54.4% of the population DO believe in elves.
Unfortunately, Lily Beachbranch does not live in Iceland. She lives in the suburbs. Boring suburbs. The only exciting part of Lily's seemingly mundane town is the downtown area, but none of the kids are allowed to go there. Their parents always say it's because of the sketchy people who roam the downtown streets, or the old, sagging, moldy buildings that line Main Street. But, for some reason, Lily finds herself drawn to downtown.
Little does Lily know, the cause for her strange attraction has to do with elves. Real, actual, pointy-eared elves. And soon, Lily starts changing.
With the help of a friend and a cat, can Lily get through this? Or, more importantly, what happens afterwards?

This book is science fiction disguised as fantasy, so for those looking for a Tolkeinesque book with elves who have hard to pronounce names and complicated life stories, THIS IS NOT THAT.
Sorry. The Hobbit is a pretty good book.

When Déorhild finally realizes that she loves Éomer, it is too late, for Éomer has along with the Rohirrim been exiled from Eodoras. So Déorhild embarks on a mission, to not only revenge those of her village who died, but to find Éomer and tell him of her true feelings for him before it's too late and he's dead. Yet both Éomer and Déorhild are caught up in a event which is greater than any of them have imagined, a war in which lies the fate of all Middle Earth. He made me believe... (READ STORY DESCRIPTION!!!)
UPDATE!!!!: This is a very old book I wrote and upon rereading it, I hate it. :). The plot's a bit crap, the characters make little to no sense, I cringe at every other line, Y/N is the biggest pick me girl and it hurts my soul, and the writings not that great either. So I'm rewriting it. If this book sounds interesting to you, please read the other updated version that won't make you want to rip your own eyes out (hopefully). It's still called 'He made me believe...' but it has '(UPDATED)' in the title so please read that one instead so I can sleep better at night. However, I'm not taking this story down (for the moment anyway) so if you really want to you can read it but don't say I didn't warn you. <3 Y/N x hiccup fanfic. She hated dragons. He loved dragons. You all know Merry Brandybuck yes? The hobbit who fell down the hill and landed on a carrot, Who joined the fellowship, who helped the Ents over run Isengard, Who became an esquire of Rohan? yeah that guy. Well this is a story involving him. It takes place just before they set out on their adventure to destroy the one ring and save middle earth. But this isn't just about Merry. There's another who you won't have heard of. Alora Headstrong is a young hobbit of the shire, Bywater to be more precise. She is the height of 3ft 6" and has short chocolate brown hair which is always curled perfectly. Her eyes are a deep blue/green colour and she is quite smart as you would say. Anyway, this is the story of how she find a new friend (Merry) while disobeying her father, over comes most of her fears and maybe, just maybe, finds the guy of her dreams. After meeting Merry 18 years prior, and then being forbidden from leaving the house on her own, Alora is given permission from her father to go to a party at the Green Dragon Inn. There she spots somebody who looks strangely familiar... After becoming friends, she soon finds herself falling for a guy. But two things stand in their way. Alora's Father and a bit of competition.
