Pin is a LiveDoll, a beautiful robot designed to be the perfect servant and helper. She has also been accused of letting a little boy die, despite her best efforts to assure everyone of her innocence. But this is a world where the people of earth are split between two sides; one that says that the LiveDolls are to be trusted and loved, and the other that says that LiveDolls are not what they seem. And some are going to dangerous lengths to prove their point.
Inside her situation, Pin has noticed that she's starting to almost feel actual human emotions, which are all strengthened when she is hidden away and entrusted with Adrian Faye, a human solider who she suspects isn't telling the full truth.
