Aaron and Erin: Living Lies

(very important fact!) The sea level rose by about 216 feet due to all the world's ice melting, making the Olympic Mountain Range an island. It is refered to in the story as The Mountain or sometimes The Island.
The naming system: For every year, there is a single letter, and all the children born in that year, have a name starting with that letter. My real name is Elane, because I was born in the year 93. I was born 93 years after The Colapse and The Rise. My older brothers are Will and Aaron (who's dead), who were born in 90 and 92. The system adds some irony to the fact that I go by Aaron in public (like my dead brother) and Erin within my family. But in reality, my realy name is still Elane. I would go by my real name, if only the government did think I was dead. If they were to find out who I really was, I'd be dead for sure.
