"My phone fell from my hand. What?
I took a deep, shuddery breath. Everything was going to be fine, I repeated. I would not be able to accomplish anything by being anxious, the rational part of me said, I just needed to clear my mind.
My hands shivered as I searched for my keys. I set out for the hospital.
