My heart skips a beat, my palms get sweaty.This is what I'm trained for.
I jump of the tall chair and take my sweat pants off and run into the water to see him slowly get carried farther out , i swim as fast as i can. i duck under a wave and close my eyes .
When i open them i see a mop of dark hair in front of me. I unhook the flotation belt from me and hook it around his waist.
I slowly swim back to the shore dragging the boy behind , i hear him coughing behind me but I'm focusing on one thing.
