She woke, panting from another nightmare of how terribly things could go at the conclave, she was to leave this morning. Her nightmares were treacherous, consisting of death and sorrow. Annika was a mage, trapped at the Ostwick circle, unable to be free of this prison. She never wanted to be a mage, she wanted to leave, to be free. And this conclave would be her first chance at freedom, she intended to go to the conclave and to never come back.
