Life for Indiana Matthews has never been easy.

Abandoned by her father at a young age and left to live with a mother who is never there, she finds it hard to connect with the people around her. Thus leading her to be unsociable and shy.

One night while on the way back from school she finds an injured man on the side of the road and decides to stop and help him, letting him into her home and, ultimately, her heart. But a few weeks later he disappears, taking half of her heart with him.

Now seven years later, Indiana is making a life for herself. That is, until that same man comes back into it and flips her world on it's head after years of her slowly putting it back together.
