He let his head sway backwards and closed his eyes, taking deep, slow, breaths to try and calm himself more. The silence was welcome, the occasional hoot of an owl hidden somewhere high up in a tree being the only thing to break it. Asher let his mind drift back to years before, the day he met Brittany, the thought of that day made him laugh now - as it did back then. It was a rather strange circumstance as to how he had come to love this girl, maybe it was wrong of him to love her... That was a thought he had never quite seemed to get out of his head.

And the far-off, scintillating stars, her hope. No matter how many things had gone wrong, how many times she had failed to do something, how many people had turned against her; the girl always had the option of crawling back to this secluded spot that none but her self knew of. Every time, she would crawl back here and wish upon the stars. And every night, she would wish for the same thing, over and over again. She’d wish for happiness.
