His implementations imply that he's some sort of cannibal and judging from what he did to that other man I fear I may be right. I refuse to answer him, spitting in his face. My face bounces of the wall, the sting of his slap left behind on my cheek. I shake the pain away, placing a facade up to hide the fear within. You fucking bastard! I narrow my eyes at him, taking note of his features in case I miraculously survive this encounter. His hair is a dark auburn and his eyes that watch me with amusement are a dark blue. His attire was a black suit which seemed out of place considering he was standing in an alleyway. If I manage to escape I want to be confident that'd I'd be able to have this bastard put behind bars. Again if... His eyes shift, my eyes widening as his eyes turn from a dark blue to a pool of black, red veins trailing along from his pupil to the edge of his eyes. His voice is dark as he commands, "Show me that pretty little neck of yours." ೋღ🌹ღೋ ⚠️ Warning!!! This book is extremely dark and has depictions of Mature language, violence, sexual activity, sexual and physical abuse, including rape. Rape is a serious crime often overlooked where the victim is made to believe it is their fault. I do not condone rape however, it's a reality. Please only read if your 18+ and with caution. Have you ever thought that vampires existed? When you think of vampires, do garlic and stakes come to mind? Well, vampires do exist, but we are not what you think. Vampires aren't just blood-craving monsters who hunt humans; we are peaceful. We do have sharp fangs, that much is true, but we aren't allergic to garlic; in fact, some of us love it, myself included. We don't burst into flame, or melt in the sunlight, and we definitely do not sparkle in the sun either. As vampires, we live for thousands, and sometimes even hundreds of thousands of years (if a pesky, self-righteous human doesn't drive a stake into our heart first...). I am not young by vampire terms. New and young vampires, are "Newlings". Until a vampire is at least one hundred years old, they can't turn a human into a vampire, and are considered a Newling. But I'm what we call a "Maturling". Maturlings are at least a century old. In vampire years, I'm one hundred, on the dot. Though in human years, I'm about twenty-four. There is a third category of vampires called "Purelings". Purelings are vampires who have always been － well, vampires, － and have never had a single human in their family tree. Purelings, unlike all other vampires, can turn a human at any age. (Imagine being turned into a vampire by a teething toddler... yikes). Like with all cultures, there are things that are forbidden. For vampires, we are not allowed, by any means, to turn a human out of spite, or if they refuse to be one of us, but when feelings surface, they can change things forever...

At least that's his plan, but since when do things go according to plan? Explicit content. Don't read if you are a minor. M-rated. Shoutout to @sp-ri-ng for the amazing cover! I love it :D - WARNINGS I've received some feedback that the relationship portrayed is abusive; just as a trigger warning. There is no (with a single exception) pain for the sake of harming anyone. I'd say it is more on the forceful side, especially with the vampire-setting, and the vampire may act questionable and egocentric. Also, depression and I'd say a suicidal tendency do come up (briefly) because of these thoughtless interactions. And, uh, "Stockholm Syndrome" was mentioned, but also in the context of an overall enjoyable read. - Finished story. There are two sequels. The first is called "Blood Sucker" and about their life after the epilogue, and the second one's called "My Blood Donor". It tells the story from Dael's POV (not finished). XOXO T.

I'm also learning more about the "supernatural world," where apparently, it's where all the ghouls exist and thrive in. And guess what else? I'm going to have to go to school with them. Fantastic. There's a part of me excited, though the larger part is scared to death. So, if you want to come with me on this crazy journey that is my life, get ready, because it's going to get even more weirder by the minute. ***Note: The story will intertwine some with my previous series, The Moonblood Clan series, so it would be best to read that first before reading this one, because some stuff may be confusing.
