Dark. Alone. Cold. Hurt. That was how the young female ward of the Alpha of The Red Talons Pack spent most of her time as a young girl. It only got worse as she grew older, as she was forced to stay in her room and occasionally get beaten by the Beta of the Pack, with the Alpha intentionally turning a blind eye for him. 

She doesn't get much of a break besides the long hours that she is left alone in her dark room, which is slightly more unbearable than just enduring Beta Scott's "visits". Her food is barely edible, her clothes tattered and falling apart, and her body riddled with scars from infected wounds and weapons made mostly of sharp silver.

She finally gets a rest when her Pack is attacked by another who know how awful the Alpha and Beta and are willing to lose a few werewolves to save the people who are being kept by them. She gets taken to a human hospital and now the people of her new pack have a problem on their hands. She can't talk, and something or someone is coming after her with a vengeance, using way to communicate that were previously thought impossible.

Can she find out who is hurting her and what they want? Will she be able to open up to the Alpha of her new pack, who just wants to help her adjust to her new bright surroundings? And will the new tall, dark, and handsome Alpha be able to get her to talk again?All Rights Reserved

He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state? She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
