What is schizophrenia?

Schizophrenia is a long-term mental health condition that causes a range of different psychological symptoms, including:
hallucinations, delusions, muddled thoughts and changes in behaviour.

How do you know you have it?

You don't. At least not a first. Because everything you see and believe, all the thoughts you have, you believe that they are all true. That nothing is wrong with you. And when you start to realise something is not right, you don't want to believe you have it, so you ignore it usually, until it gets worse, until it starts to scar you, until someone else realises. And then you get diagnosed.

Rowan is a 16 year old girl, about to start her first day of sixth form. Boy drama, girl drama, new friends and old - these next few years will be the craziest, but best years of her life. That is. Until it all goes wrong.
