To Write: Poem A day

To write is to give a portion of you-
Your heart, your soul anew-
To write you must take it from yourself-
Not from books you've only glanced at on the shelf-
Be the writer and the artists all in one-
Write so your poetry is as glorious as the sun-
Write just write-
It matters not what others think as your words take flight-
For whether you are good or bane matters not.
