troye was broken and corrupt; living in the shadows and being an orphan all while being in one of america's most wanted gangs wasn't exactly the best position to be in.
connor is every parent's dream; good kid, has good grades, and is well behaved. he's never stepped a foot out of line and never wants to, in fear that it would look bad on his college application. with a girlfriend he's pretty certain he loves, his best friend lily, and great siblings, he was sure nothing would go wrong in his life.
when the two run into each other by what seems to be a pure accident, their worlds combine and come crashing down.
