This story is after the events of Halo 3 but before the events of Halo 4.
It is about Humanity taking back the galaxy that they fought bloodily for ever step, for every square mile, for every moon.
The story is told through the perspective of different soldiers including: ODST, Marine, Spartans, Naval personal, ONI personal, Commanding Officers.

Halo Battle Buddies 2: Homefront
Book 02/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. From this Forerunner, it pledged itself and its forces of unknown magnitude to fight the genocidal war against the Covenant, to protect humanity. The UNSC Pillar of Autumn heads course back home, to the Solar System, Earth. A big mystery slowly unveils on humanities newest ally. Will our heroes within the UNSC turn the tides of the conflict in the fates of their species? What will this alliance with the Forerunner entail to go on the offensive? All will be revealed in due time. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond. After an UNSC fleet fell prey to an ancient Forerunner scheme, a lone Spartan is left stranded in a world that he doesn't understand. He gets himself inadvertently bonded to a dragon, marking him as a pawn in a new conflict. He must fight for his life and overcome his own nature to gain allies in a world where nothing makes sense. But war always catches on, burning all it touches. Episode 2: I believe that seeing more than 60 parts in a story makes the readers (or at least me as a reader) feel uncomfortable so I'm dividing in different Episodes: At the Beors, At Du Weldenvarden, The Beggining of the Invasion, New Allies, etc. I suggest to read each chapter entirely to get a better grasp of the plot. Also, there are some scenes of bloodshed and fight, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. In a Galaxy far away, it has been years since the Human-Covenant War ended. Many lives were lost and many worlds were burned or destroyed by the fallen Covenant empire. Thanks to the Forerunner's technology and unlimited resources the UNSC now known as the Terran Republic was able to restore their fallen colonies and end human insurrections in the outer colonies. The Terrans also made a strong alliance with a new faction called The Sword of Sanghelios which is led by the Arbiter known as Thel 'Vadam. With this strong alliance, both factions became powerful allies and business partners. Together, they expanded their colonies further into deep space and beyond. But with their expansion, they discovered a new Galaxy and colonies of a new planet called Fury. A year after the planet was colonized they found out that they weren't the only living species in this new Galaxy. *A/N: I do not own Star Wars or Halo. I only own my ideas.*

(Canonically he is considered dead or MIA) The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. The Ghosts of War is a prequel and pilot of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first book on where Halo Combat Evolved takes place.
