It's been 13 years since the harsh war that deemed blood-benders as the supreme rulers of the lands. Brian, a teenaged blood-bender, does not want to hurt anyone, and show that some blood-benders actually have a heart. That, however, is an almost impossible task, as his destiny forces him to drive himself to kill, in order to save everyone else. This road to his prophesised future is accompanied by other benders, each with a more extreme personality and bending power than the last. This dysfunctional team must travel through the kingdoms of elements, in search of the fierce leaders of old times, to discover the roots of the most ancient prophecy of all: the spirit-bender.
