Before, she was just a tomboyish girl. Kacey could not care less about her appearance, maybe because of her parents' disinterest in caring for her. That was until she met Dwight. When she decided to rent an appartment. Her parents were more than willing to support her in that decision! She was over-excited at the thought of living in that one luxurious apartment that she totally adored at first sight! Then comes the disappointment. Son of very rich businessman Wilson, who claimed to have laid eyes on that apartment first. Followed by an agreement between Dwight and Kacey to share the apartment.

Years after settling down and living a semi-normal, when her boyfriend, Travis, becomes increasingly suspicious of why she constantly disappears and always comes back with cuts and bruises, she faces a choice. Does she tell him and risk putting him in danger? Or does she keep her secret from him for his own good? ~ ~ ~ Travis has been dating Kacey for two years, and he knows there is something that she's not telling him. He has never pressured her to tell. But, when he's forced to question her constant disappearances and injuries... Well... What can I say? It's Complicated.
