Hi, everyone, this is my first story written in a non-native language such as English, let me know some of the grammatical errors or anything, but I think I can handle this by myself. If I weren't I probably wouldn't be doing this, hehe. Just kidding, let's do this Note: This is a re-work/re-write of The Soul Society Tournament, a former Bleach fanfic written in Spanish. The story is the same, but with a little things slightly different from the original work The characters aren't mine, they belong to Tite Kubo, creator of the manga/anime series Bleach It has been two months since the end of the Thousand Year Blood War and the battle against Yhwach and his Quincy's army. Both Karakura and the Soul Society live peacefully and quietly until, during a binge party to celebrate the two months of peace organized by the commander captain Shunsui Kyoraku, this one had a wonderful idea: gather some of the strongest Soul Reapers and make them participate in a 32 fighting tournament. Hitsugaya is in charge to notifying about the tournament to Ichigo and Rukia who are currently living in a rented apartment. Later then, he gathers some of his friends along with Rukia, Yoruichi and Urahara to participate in the tournament. The prize for winning: become the successor of the commander captain in case that he dies Clarifications: Rukia revoked her position as the captain of Thirteenth Division to go to live with Ichigo in a rented apartment. The war with the Quincy is finally over, and Ichigo again stands victorious. However, a new enemy stirs from within the depths of the Soul Society. A deep political conspiracy threatens to change the worlds in a way our protagonists could never have imagined, while a mysterious man comes to interfere with Ichigo's fate. And in the middle of this confusion, Ichigo is given a direct order: He must marry his friend and comrade Rukia Kuchiki. When it comes to writing fan fictions, I feel that it should be done for at least one of four reasons: 1. You love the source material and are paying homage to it, 2. There is something that you wish to explore even further within the canon, usually a "what if" question, 3. You have an original story that you want to push forward, and finally 4. There is something you perceive to be wrong with the story and you are correcting it. For me, writing this story hits all four points.
