After her father and eldest brother were taken away to Azkaban, Alora Carrow thought her life would take a turn for the better. When she arrived at Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw house, she was sure it had. Even though she had lost half of her family, her favorite brother Mallark remained to watch after her though he was in Slytherin. As the good brother he was, he kept his sister close and praised her highly on her intelligence. Perhaps that was the mistake, keeping her so near especially with the people he kept in his company. Alora could have had a turn around in her life if only she had never met young Tom Marvolo Riddle, a bright boy two years her senior in her brother's year- one of his best friends. Admired by the Ravenclaws for his wit, she was instantly drawn to him and he to her from the moment he laid eyes on the Carrow girl. She was different from her family, different from everyone- Alora was a curiosity to him and he had to have her for himself, his prize. But as the years unfold, secrets will reveal themselves leaving the Carrow siblings no choice but to run. Sadly, that is no choice at all.
